Games have always been an important part of Indigenous culture across Turtle Island. Games and sports were not played only to lead to physical improvement, but also to teach lessons in all aspects of a persons life, physically, mentally, spiritually and as a community.

Learn about the games that Indigenous people across North America traditionally played, races, hoop and stick games, hand games and more. Take the opportunity to step back into history and have a hands on experience while trying out these Traditional Games and the equipment the Indigenous People would use at the time and still often do!  This presentation is filled with opportunities to try out these games and take away the lessons they teach!
